Christmas 2013 has finally arrived after a fantastic year of Classes, Team Training, Fiestas and Events.
Just to briefly summarize Salsa con Coco has:
Put on its very own Photo Shoot complete with Professional Photography / Professional Costumes / Professional Dancers and Fabulous Hair and Make Up so that everyone could get the chance of dressing up / glamming up / posing with the professionals and generally feeling like a V.I.P. for the night.
Presented a Fabulous range of Choreographies during the year including Salsa / Bachata / Bachasalsa culminating in our award winning Nationals Performance Team Choreography including the spectacular above ground display with Kasi and Wayne.
Performed spectacularly at the end of year competitions taking home a fabulous array of prizes at both the New Zealand Salsa Championships and the New Zealand Salsa Open:

Salsa Professional Couples – (Coco & Vyara) – 1st Place
Salsa Teams Large – (Student Salsa con Coco Team) – 1st Place
Salsa Teams Small – (Advanced Salsa con Coco Team) – 1st Runner up
Latin Open – (Coco & Vyara) – Tango – 1st Runner Up
Salsa Solo Female – (Alicia) – 2nd Place
Salsa Amateur Couple – (Antonio & Alicia) – 2nd Place
Social Salsa Advanced – (Antonio & Alicia) – 3rd Place
Latin Open Couples – (Antonio & Maggie) – 3rd Place
Held some amazing fiestas with our Peru National Day Fiesta and our Annual Auckland Salsa Fiesta.
Brought together a team of dancers to entertain the crowds at the Annual Auckland Santa Parade with Banda Latina and the impressive and very lively Latin Float.
Successfully run a Bachata and Kizomba Bootcamp.
Entertained the patrons at the dine and dance venue Atico Cocina with Coco’s dance displays and classes.
Organized the very exciting Salsa Knock Out (L.A. Salsa versus Cuban Salsa) at the Juice Bar in Parnell
Finally to top it off performed and played at the atmospheric Salsa under the stars in Aotea Square with Banda Latina
