2014 has been an exciting and challenging year for Salsa con Coco. Here are just some of the highlights from our year.
We “Launched” the first of our Luxury Launch Events with everyone enjoying participating in “Maritime Salsa” with the added bonus of tours around the viaduct and Wynyard Quarter on the smaller launch.
We also launched the first of our Bachata Block Courses which proved very popular with a huge turnout of keen Bachateros ready to learn among other things some Flashy Moves & Bachata Poses from National Champions Coco & Vyara.
Coco & Vyara proved once again that they are New Zealand’s Best Bachata & Salsa Performance Dancers by winning 1st Place in both
Professional Bachata Couples & Professional Salsa Couples at the 2014 N.Z. Salsa Open. Plus with a String of Successful & Award Winning Performance Teams coming out of The Salsa con Coco Stable they have also proved their outstanding success as Coaches including coaching the current Bachata & Salsa Performance Team.
December 2014 we ran the first of our B.S.R. (Bachata / Salsa/ Rueda) on the Beach events which was enjoyed by all including Mission Bay Beach goers who took full advantage of the free impromptu “show”.
